Student Advisor

 The student advisor assists the Director in determining student needs, in maintaining accurate records of student performance, and in advising students as to their academic performance.

 1. Meets with students for orientation at the beginning of the

   semester.

 2. Advises students about housing, IUP procedures (where and how to do things), etc.

3. Manages progress reports: dissemination, checking accuracy, recording data, checking accuracy of data recorded in database.

4. Keeps attendance records; incorporating data into database

5. Organizes meetings (individual and group) related to student academic needs

6. Conducts special projects and other requests of the Director
