A special non credit course for tourists, short-term exchange students, or groups of visiting business and professional persons can be arranged for any five week period during any semester. A moderate proficiency in English is necessary to begin this program. This program is by special arrangement only. The language component of this program includes ten hours of classroom instruction per week, emphasizing the social and communicative uses of English, including conversation, listening comprehension, cultural interaction in the community with American citizens or visits to area businesses and organizations in order to further develop language and cultural interactions for visitors.
